Smarp’s new commercial director will steer the commercial unit and implement the new strategy.
Smarp has appointed Leila Lehtinen as their commercial director, starting June 2017. Her key responsibilities will be to manage the sales organization and implement the company’s new strategy.
For the last 20 years, Mrs. Lehtinen has worked in directorial business positions in the IT industry, with her latest position as Head of Public Affairs, Nordics at Tieto. Previously, Lehtinen has worked at Dell and Microsoft, among others.
With its new strategy, Smarp is going to make knowledge sharing even easier for client companies and their employees by providing an intuitive, personalized content hub where all employees have access to the information they need to be successful. Lehtinen’s task will be to implement Smarp’s new strategy in leading the commercial segment of the organization.

Lehtinen will be the first female member to join Smarp’s executive team. She has also been appointed to the board of The Finnish Social Insurance Institution, starting on May 23rd.
