Recently chosen as a Red Herring top 100 Europe finalist, the Helsinki based Software-as-a-Service provider Smarp and the leading Nordic social media agency Dingle have announced a new commercial partnership that will allow Dingle to distribute and offer Smarp’s SmarpShare product to their clients.
With SmarpShare chosen company administrators, for example Marketing and HR Managers, can add content such as news articles, open positions, upcoming events, and blogs to the platform for employees to share to their personal social media networks. Employees can also suggest their own content and get recognition for participation through a gamified point system. SmarpShare already has dozens of client companies with thousands of users (employees) ranging from universities to global corporations such as Metso and UPM. Recently, Smarp has also successfully expanded to UK, Singapore, UAE, and the Netherlands.
Smarp’s success has largely been fueled by a noticeable shift in the attitude of businesses regarding employee social media use, as companies are moving from compliance management to employee empowerment. Employee Advocacy has already been dubbed “the next mega-trend in social media” as more businesses have realized the benefits of having their employees create professional conversations with their social networks.
Dingle, on the other hand, is recognized as a leading social media agency in the Nordics with years of experience in creating and implementing successful social media strategies, processes and services for hundreds of Nordic companies.
Smarp’s CEO Roope Heinilä believes this is just the beginning. “Our partnership with Dingle will certainly help our clients receive even better results with their employee advocacy programs. Seeing global organizations motivate their employees to participate in communications is highly encouraging as it increases transparency and empowers employees. SmarpShare gives businesses the perfect tool to manage this change and Dingle can provide the necessary professional services to guarantee success.”
The partnership brings mutual benefits to both parties as well as the clients. Dingle CEO Juho Jokinen has experienced first hand the challenges organizations face today. “Advanced companies are constantly looking for ways to empower and motivate their employees to leverage social media. Together with Smarp we’re able to provide our customers a full-service package on Employee Advocacy from hands-on training to continuous measuring and improvement. We truly believe employee advocacy can remarkably improve the volume of the sales pipeline and the efficiency of support functions and marketing. We’re now into our third employee advocacy project, and our first customers have seen a remarkable increase in their sales.”
