Mobile overtaking the desktop usage has been a hot topic during the past years, and not without a reason. Today, people want to stay connected and have access to information, no matter the location. A recent study by comScore demonstrates that today more than half of the digital media consumption takes place in mobile apps. According to the study, 52% of the time spent on digital media is through mobile apps over desktop usage and mobile web surfing.
When it comes to social media, mobile apps are definitely of high interest and important for their users, and the same applies to Employee Advocacy. According to Adobe ADI analysis, people prefer apps over mobile browsers when reviewing sensitive information - e.g. personal accounts, while Facebook is the most used mobile application in the world (TechCrunch). This strongly implies that people want to manage their social networking applications through an easy and user-friendly interface with a secure feeling.
Be there or be square, they say! As digital media is increasingly consumed on mobile, it is obvious that in the future employee communications and advocacy will also more and more happen on the go. In order to provide even better Employee Advocacy experiences, we decided to renew our mobile apps completely.
